ORION

A coding agentthat uses yourown model.

Orion runs in your terminal. Connect an API key from the provider you already use, tell it what to build or fix, and it reads your project, edits the files, runs your commands and checks the result.

Orion does not sell model access. You pay your provider directly, at their normal price. Your key is saved only on your computer, in ~/.orion, or read from an environment variable.

Models are named provider/model. Pick a default once, override it for a single task, or switch in the middle of a conversation.

Write yourown agents.

An agent is a Markdown file. The header sets its model and the tools it may use, and the text below becomes its instructions. Orion ships with build, which can change files, and plan, which can only read.

Orion shows each edit before it is written and asks before running a command. It cannot read or write outside the project folder. Add --yolo if you want it to work without asking.
